Summertime is in the air and Fuzion Magazine has surely caught wind! To help bring in the festive months of summer, grammy-nominated singer Karina Pasian has graced our June cover with style and fun.
From the young age of 3, Karina displayed early potential for her incredible musical talent as beginning to play the piano. At age 7 she was singing and by 13 she was introduced into the music industry. Her style, as she describes “is a combination of R&B and Soul but it has little hints of jazz that I add with my voice ‘cause jazz is my favorite genre.”
Best known for her introduction to the world with her single, “Sixteen @ War”, Karina has collaborated with John Legend and Trey Songz, with hopes of joining Drake on a track sometime in the future. “I think he [Drake] is so talented, his lyrics are just amazing and his melodies just everything and his concepts. I think he is just an amazing artist.”
More recently, Karina has released the EP “Trips to Venus”, displaying her evolution as an artist. On the re-release to “Trips to Venus: The Love edition”, Karina displays her love for culture and changes it up with a Latina version of Minnie Rippleton’s “Loving you”. Her new single and video, “It’s Whatever” is a cute and relatable, as we all have those moments where we completely stop caring.
