Whitney Houston has been frozen in time by Madame Taussaud’s wax museum. According to People magazine, they have created four life-like wax figure’s of the late icon in different stages of her successful career.
People.com describes the four wax figures which features monumental points during Houston’s career and where each figure will be housed, “[the wax figures displays] Whitney performing the national anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl is going to Washington, D.C.’s Tussauds; Hollywood will get her in her 1992 movie The Bodyguard; Las Vegas will display the young Houston as seen in her 1988 video for “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)”; and New York will exhibit a more recent likeness of the singer, from a 2009 photo shoot for her final studio album.”
Whitney Houston’s manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston released a statement on the family’s behalf expressing her honor, “We were extremely honored when Madame Tussauds approached us about doing four figures of Whitney from different points in her 30-year career.”
After a year after Houston’s tragic and unexpected passing the wax figures will make their debut in New York on Thursday.
