At the chilly end of an event-filled summer, Absolut celebrated the launch of their first-ever wine-infused liquer, ABSOLUT TUNE. Taking over the chic Standard hotel, the worlds’ first premium vodka brand opens the doors to a new taste on the liquer market.
Kicking off the celebration with the tunes for the dance floor was famed DJ Samantha Ronson, holding down the record decks while guests nibbled on hour d’overs and sipped specialty mixed drinks provided by ABSOLUT.
Flavors like Naughty Bellini (ABSOLUT Peach, ABSOLUT Tune, Peach Puree) and Blushing Bombshell (ABSOLUT Tune, ABSOLUT Vodka, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, Fresh Mint) were served to mingling guests like Paper Magazine’s Mickey Boardman and Bevy Smith.
Celebrity host Solange Knowles led the party by introducing the musical acts of the night Rita Ora– who serenaded guests in The Top of the Standard, and Selah Sue– who hypnotized all ears with her sultry ballads atop a disco ball-filled swimming poool in the middle of Le Bain.
