VNF Productions kicked off the Fall/Winter 2020 fashion shows with the debut presentation of Kollar Fashions, a blossoming brand hailing from Canada.
With a focus on outerwear, Kollar Fashions designer, David Kollar, paid keen attention to detailed and deliberate layering with styling so precise, the pieces seemed perfectly tailored to each model’s shape, height, and body type.
While the designs encapsulate a classic grungy-chic 90’s vibe with layered flannels, hoodies paired with leather jackets, and thick cable knit sweaters, there were subtle yet unique surprises. Collection standouts were the bubble coat with a black paisley bandana print affixed to the shoulders, a trendy jacket with croc skin in place of traditional leather, and the holographic bomber jacket that appears to be blue, pink, orange, or silver depending on the lighting.
Not one to skip out on the accessories, Kollar’s models donned eccentric hairstyles such as bantu knots and pierced braids, tinted orange sunglasses, and wallet chains.
Overall, Kollar and VNF Productions put on an excellent debut show with a mix of nostalgic yet modern designs.
