Baiyu is a true R&B gem and one only needs to listen to her new single Surrender to see why. The singer-songwriter truly encapsulates the importance of acknowledging all the beauty around us in this marvelously written and executed love song. There is an air of vulnerability to the track which mirrors the deep and all consuming love depicted in the song. When talking about the track this is what Baiyu had to says, “In the midst of traffic, meetings, anxiety, preconceptions, and the sorts—most of us are all too caught up. Sometimes I have to remind myself that none of what bogs me down really matters. What matters is that I surrender to the present moment; surrender to love. ” If the rumors are true Baiyu’s debut album is set to drop very soon but only time will tell.
