It’s a done deal. The last episode of The Wendy Williams Show aired last Friday, June 17, 2022.

The Wendy Williams Show was supposed to go on with rotating guest hosts until the end of the season, but Williams has been sick all season and hasn’t been able to work. Williams wasn’t there for the last episode, but there was a video montage that honored her and her long run.

“The final original episode of The Wendy Williams Show will air Friday, with a video tribute to the iconic host. The series comes to an end after 13 successful years in syndication,” a spokesperson for the show said in a statement.

In February, it was announced that Sherri Shepherd’s daytime syndicated talk show, which is also produced and distributed by Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury, will start airing on Fox TV stations and broadcasters across the country this fall. It will take over Wendy’s time slots on Fox O&O.

Both Debmar-Mercury and the Fox Stations have found the Wendy Williams Show to be important. It was one of the first original shows that Debmar-Mercury syndicated, and it has been one of the most popular and longest-running shows they have ever made. In the summer of 2009, Wendy started with a limited test run on Fox TV stations. It was the first nationally syndicated hit to come from the model that has become a mainstay for Fox Stations.

In An Update On Her Health, Wendy Williams Says, “I can only feel five percent of my feet.”

The famous talk show host told TMZ on Tuesday (June 28) that she only has “maybe 5%” feeling left in her feet because of her lymphedema.

During the short back-and-forth, Williams showed her current health by lifting up her swollen leg and saying that it has gotten worse since she left The Wendy Williams Show, which ended June 17,

“Do you see this? [My foot] is up and down. I can only feel maybe five percent of my feet, do you understand?” She explained, making it clear that she doesn’t need a wheelchair to get around and can “stand up” on her own.

The Mayo Clinic says that lymphedema is caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune and circulatory systems.

The 57-year-old told people what was wrong with her in 2019 after pap pictures showed that her ankles were swollen. She also has Graves’ disease, which causes her thyroid to make too many hormones.

When TMZ asked her how she was doing “physically,” Williams said she was doing “better” than anyone else. She also said that she was “100% retired” from her talk show, but that she would be willing to host The View at some point.

Williams says that she will still be in the spotlight even though she will no longer be on TV. She will do this by making her own podcast.

She said, “When you’re famous, podcasts will make you more money than doing The Wendy Williams Show.”
