Los Angeles (Associated Press) – A celebration of African American economic success and opportunity will feature appearances by Venus Williams, Spike Lee, Tracee Ellis Ross, Shaquille O’Neal, and Killer Mike, among others.
Daymond John, a “Shark Tank” panelist and the CEO of FUBU, will host the first annual Black Entrepreneurs Day on October 27 at the Apollo Theater in New York City. The event will be webcast live on Johnson’s Facebook page and BlackEntrepreneursDay.com.
John said in a statement that the third annual event would continue to focus on providing opportunities to “inspire, educate, learn from, and celebrate those that are hustling, pushing forward, pursuing their dreams, and in many cases, thriving.”
