Hotties also need rest days.
When Megan Thee Stallion hosts (and sings on) Saturday Night Live this weekend, she will like have a professional high point, but she will also be dealing with significant financial losses because her house was broken into on October 13.
Megan addressed the break-in on Friday (October 14) and said she’s “really gotta take a break” after TMZ reported that more than $300,000 worth of items was taken from her Los Angeles home while she was in New York City.
She subsequently added, “Hotties,” after writing, “Material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe 💙🙏🏾, I’m really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break I’m so tired, physically and emotionally.”

Two males allegedly came into her home on the night of October 13 and ransacked her bedroom, stealing items valued at thousands of dollars, according to TMZ. Despite the fact that no arrests have yet been made, the incident has been captured on film, according to the publication. For the past several days, Megan has been in New York getting ready for her SNL debut.
The rapper has had a hectic year. After being featured on the Rolling Stone cover this summer, she has performed at music festivals, launched a website with mental health information, twerked with a Halo character, and gone through an unavoidably arduous legal process after alleging that Tory Lanez shot her in 2020.

In the middle of August, she also made available her album “Traumazine,” which included tracks like “Budget” with Latto, “Scary” with Rico Nasty, and “Consistency” with Jhené Aiko.
But she has also been open about how difficult it has occasionally been, She stated earlier this year to Rolling Stone that she was “trying every day to get through it and be good.” “I feel so bad because I don’t feel like anybody’s taking me seriously, but I don’t want them to see me cry. I don’t want them to know that I feel like this, because I don’t want them to feel like, ‘Oh, I got you. I’m breaking you.’”
Megan has been in a celebratory mood despite the break-in and her obvious tiredness. She posted that she was “excited AF” to appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend after being nominated for favorite female hip-hop artist of the years at the American Music Awards.
“OK, girl, you don’t want to get online. That’s fine. Oh, Megan, I’m just sending you love and support today,” she told Rolling Stone in her cover story interview.
“I’m like, ‘Y’all know my spirit!’”
