Currently, Lil Nas X’s schedule is jam-packed. On Wednesday, September 21, the rapper collaborated with M7Ms to offer a limited-edition box of the chocolate candy to celebrate his new role as president of League of Legends, the debut of his new tune “STAR WALKIN” for the video game, and the almost sold-out nightly gigs on his Long Live Montero Tour (September 21).

This project is both a tribute to his successful live show run and a fundraiser for Sing For Hope, an organization that uses the transformative power of the arts to help bring about a better world.

“Right now, M&Ms is making music accessible and bringing people together, and that’s what I do,” the “Call Me By Your Name (Montero)” singer said.

Up to $100,000, SweetWorks will give $5 from the sale of each limited-edition box to Sing For Hope. Since he is “simply being myself through my music,” Lil Nas X said, “the message of Sing For Hope fits in perfectly with my own philosophy.” He added that he hopes the group would “allow many others to feel comfortable with themselves.”

The question is, which M&M is his favorite. That green M&M is the sexiest one, right? There’s just something off about that green M&M.

Lil Nas X discussed his latest single, “STAR WALKIN,” in an interview. Despite being the first new music from him since June’s “Late to Da Party (F*CK BET),” and serving as a tie-in to his League of Legends presidency, the song doesn’t give listeners a good idea of what to anticipate from his impending second studio album.

“I wouldn’t say that “STAR WALKIN’” is indicative of what the next album is going to sound like. I say that only because I don’t know exactly what the next album is going to be like. I almost never know until I finally buckle down and pick what songs are going to be on it,” he remarked before adding confidently, “I just know that it’s going to be my best project yet.”

Lil Nas X can now confidently declare that his pre-show routines have been firmly established after 21 more concerts on the Long Live Montero Tour. The rapper says, “imagining that everybody is a robot and I’m in a VR game, so I can just do whatever I want to do and it’s not going to matter…kinda like in the “Panini” video.”

The two-time Grammy winner said, “I like to do at least 40 push ups so when I do go out there [on stage] in whatever small shirt I’m wearing, my muscles poke out a little more. I like to call an ex… and I like to tell them I still have love for them, in case they’re at the show tonight.”

After seeing a few gigs, Lil Nas X admits that he has a preference for either “That’s What I Want” or “Lost in the Citadel” from the setlist. The rapper’s two songs perfectly capture the spirit of his show’s second half and his artistic aspirations:

“I love the whole second act of my show the most, because I feel like it’s very theatrical, and I feel like those two songs really breathes the essence of what I want the entire show to be and what the entire show is. The second act of my performance is most to the point of what I am trying to convey with my show for sure.”
