Unverified reports of an Adidas and Balenciaga collaboration or a recreation of the premium brand’s Triple S sneaker have gone viral.
The first images of the probable collab between the Paris-based design house and the sportswear behemoth was published by Sneaker Bar Detroit, a site for the latest shoe news and sneaker release dates. Neither company has confirmed the collaboration. Other online streetwear and sneaker zines have also been awash in rumors and predictions.

The first image shows Adidas’ triple black stripes on a white leather top with a Triple S sole. The Balenciaga logo can be found on the side and rear of the bag. Later this year, the two-tone sneaker is expected to be introduced.
For the time being, there is no confirmation of the release date, but sneakerheads, collectors, and resellers from around the world are sharing and commenting, crossing their fingers for a retail release date.
