Tiffany Brown Designs hailing out of Georgia is one of quite a few Black designers to seen on the NYFW Spring Summer 2021 schedule. After several outspoken industry heads spoke out about the lack of Black designers at NYFW, it is a relief to see some new faces. Let us continue to push on. Tiffany Brown brought a bit of that classic southern charm to our New York city streets.
The collection featured two iconic colors: pink and green or more specifically Salmon Pink and Apple Green considering CEO and designer Tiffany is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA).

As a newcomer, Tiffany Brown Designs are able to tell their story in their designs. Through color scheme and video/venue location, we learned about the designer, their home, and where some of their influences may have come from. “Tiffany Brown was founded in 2008 in a small boutique in Midtown Atlanta, specializing in men and women’s clothing.” Just 12 years down the road, they are debuting at fashion week with a minimalist (in style and shape) meets maximalist (in color) collection.
