There’s no denying it, cannabidiol (aka CBD) skincare is in…and for good reason. The whole-plant hemp extract is the newest secret weapon in wellness due to the powerful compounds found in the Cannabis sativa plant. For the past few years, we have seen a slew of brands releasing CBD-infused skincare products with dermatologists providing a lot of insights to distinguish CBD from THC, the latter which gives you that buzz. Synchronicity is answering the call for natural ingredients in wellness products.
We share more than 40% of our genome with the cannabis plant and their two intertwined helices logo shows how Earth and the body work with one another: creating Synchronicity. In 2015, the Colorado-based whole-plant hemp oil company was created to break out of the sea of sameness in the growing CBD industry. They envisioned a whole wellness brand to support the body’s natural functions through sustainably farmed, proprietary plants. So, when it came to dipping our toes into the burgeoning CBD wellness industry, Fuzion featured their full-spectrum hemp oil body oil in our Fuzion Flow section.
Their body oil contains 200mg of CBD, which is on the higher side of what we’ve seen in most skincare. It contains Vitamin E, and a combination of organic arnica, jojoba, lavender, and infused full-spectrum hemp oils. True full-spectrum contains high-levels of phytonutrients that are natural compounds found in plants to increase energy and quality of sleep to improve functional health.
After a couple of Sundays of adding the body butter to my Sunday self-care routine (I’ve added a few squirts to my regular lotion), I am a full believer in Synchronicity. The name itself is defined as meaningful coincidences with no relationship, and up until recently, CBD and skincare were just that and more through ingestibles, topicals, and aromatherapy. This is the kind of brand you can dip your toe in where an easy nod of ‘I like this’ is achieved at first touch. I can see Synchronicity remaining a staple in my self-care Sunday regime for a long time, including adding their Youth Serum Skin Cream to my regular morning routine (more on that later). The results are pleasantly relaxing: a desire to close your eyes and just seep into feeling better.
