For their Spring/Summer 2021 NYFW presentation, Monse took to the New York City Streets to debut a 1-minute highlight reel of the collection. In true New York Fashion, cars and people alike rolled along in the background as epic fashion starred on the screen in the foreground.

All-day, the fashion industry was abuzz with where the Monse show was being held (or more accurately, filmed). A rumor pushed many curious viewers to a terrace in a neighboring borough, but as we can see from the video clips, the Monse virtual presentation was filmed in good old Tribeca just steps away from Spring Studios.

The collection pushed the usual fashion norms featuring trend-setting accessorization (with the model wearing a single gold hoop earring and multiple belts layered on one jacket) and blazers with open backs, and a belt/keychain with the lettering spelling out M-O-N-S-E cascading down the model’s hip. A belt like this has only been done well previously by the likes of Chanel and Dior, but perhaps Monse has come to play.

The collection features 19 unique looks, each with varying degrees of pleasantly unusual silhouettes.

Collection standouts are:

While Monse’s virtual presentation was the shortest, it has been one of the most impactful thus far.
