Presented by Fresh off the Rail, the Fall/Winter 2020 NYFW streetwear capsule presentation was a showcase for several budding and exciting designers from all around the US (varying from Texas to Louisiana).
First up, if legends (meaning international fashion legends) opened up the show with a 7-look collection created by 10-year-old Houston-based designer, Jeremy.
The versatile collection featured several variations of the assumed streetwear uniform: jeans and a hoodie with minor tweaks and adornments.
Collection standouts were joggers and hoodies with sparkling drawstrings and a wonderfully-tailored plaid coat paired with a crossbody fanny pack.
Hayven’s 8-look collection encompassed the classic 90s/2000’s street style vibe complete with paint-splattered denim jeans, fresh air forces, and chain wallets. The twist was a cali-esque vibe with layered flannels over hoodies and hot pink joggers paired with strappy heels.
Havoc displayed a 4-look collection featuring simple silhouettes and pieces that are perfect for layering.
A fan fave was the Havoc tracksuit.
Ok ok… debuted a 7-look collection with tees, jerseys, and hoodies emblazoned with the brand’s namesake phrase. The vibe of the collection was reminiscent of an off duty high-school athlete with comfy yet cute joggers and knotted-up crop tops.
Risk is the Key showcased an 8-look collection featuring a classic black and gold color scheme with either the “risk is the key” logo or phrase displayed on each piece.
Collection standouts are the hooded all-black tunic cardigan and the navy blue cargo jacket.
Haute Kleaux hailing all the way from Louisiana showcased a 7-look collection atypical to the streetwear vibe featuring feminine 50’s-esque silhouettes with a modern twist and african-inspired prints and fabrics.
