On the morning of Monday, February 10th, Luooif Studios stormed the scene, flowing through the airy runways of Spring Studios. A collection doused with festive colors and sultry draping awakened viewers and fashion enthusiasts alike. Like many other designers this season, Luooif Studios gave an appreciable ode to the 80s with cut out shoulders, pearl embellishments, and pussy bow details making an appearance.

A popular trend within recent seasons, sheer fabric (on clothing and accessories) was once again spotted. Luooif Studios presented two entirely sheer dresses and fabulous vintage-esque sheer gloves.

The collections colors were reminiscent of rich and luxurious jewel tones: bronze/gold, emerald green, burnt orange, ruby red/pink, and deep purple/indigo. These hues excellently complemented the draping and fabric including but not limited to velvet and satin.

Collection standouts were the elevated basics such as wide-leg pants with slits up to the knee and drastic balloon sleeves on peasant tops. While the collection could be deemed as an ode to the 80s, influences from the roaring 20s were subtle yet noticeable. Deep open backs and v-necklines as well as tousled off the shoulder pieces reminiscent of scenes from The Great Gatsby were ever-present in this collection.

What’s next for Luooif Studios? We hope to see these jewel-toned hues channeled into the Spring/Summer collection with beaded mini dresses and perhaps 20’s-inspired headscarves?
