Grungy Gentleman took the stage with a tracksuit-heavy 28-look collection focused on “simplifying the getting dressed process”. Designer, Jace Lipstein, took a note from the trending womenswear playbook by creating versatile, multifunctional two-piece sets (aka tracksuits).
The collection is created with the busy, everyman in mind featuring an interesting mix of workwear, loungewear, and I’m-going-to-brunch-with-my-mom wear (see: burgundy cardigan with elbow patches).
While the pieces were mostly loungewear and activewear, the most alluring pieces were the ones that broke the mold: the camel coat with horizontal stripes for example or the navy blue jacket featuring sharp lines and four (count ‘em, four) front pockets!
Not one to shy away from colors and funky patterns, the collection featured cheetah print and leopard print strips, vibrant hues, and intricate geometric prints.
What’s next for Grungy Gentleman? We’re looking forward to a fun and colorful Spring/Summer collection.
