This stylish Diva makes gratitude a core component of her day, and why it works.

As a dentist at her family-owned Arizona-based dental practice and as an owner of a toddler boutique called House of Posh, fashion influencer Linda Parra understands the importance of wellness. She is all about living what she preaches. Through her Instagram account, this boss babe and mother of two has kept her 100,000 followers motivated during lockdown continuing to share her new normal with her at-home fashion style, beauty secrets, recipes, workouts on her new Peloton bike, and relatable fun times with her family.

Even before the world hit the pause button, Linda was kick-starting her day with an early morning CrossFit class, quality time with her two children before dropping them off at pre-school and daycare, respectively, and a healthy breakfast all before heading into work, #goals! Carving out time to take care of herself has always been an essential way for her to maintain balance in her every day.

But self-care is not something that falls by the wayside for this multi-hyphenated social media influencer, who revealed to us that she starts her days with a “pep talk and gratitude inventory check”, and why the simplicity and challenges of motherhood are contributing to her joy.

Affirmation or Mantra
Be grateful.

First Thing You Do to Start Your Day
Start every day with a pep talk. Mornings bring me a lot of anxiety about the endless tasks I have at hand. I tell myself that I can do it all … maybe not all at the same time or on the same day. Also, I do a gratitude inventory check. I thank my body, the roof over my head, and the family that I have.

Favorite Go-To Way to Break A Sweat
Jumping on my peloton bike has become my favorite go-to sweat session. No matter how I felt before I got on, I always feel so much better getting off.

One Underrated Practice in Wellness
Gratitude is underrated. I firmly believe the more we are grateful for what we have and all the little things, the more we become at peace with things we can’t control.

Go-To Way to Get Out of a Rut
When I get in a rut, I try something new: a new workout, a new piece of equipment, or maybe even a new activewear set.

Techniques for Resetting Your Day
When I need to reset my day, I stop what I’m doing and take a moment to clear my thoughts. Taking some deep breaths, drinking a cup of tea helps me feel better by the time I’m finished.

Go-To Way to Spark Joy for Yourself
Playing with my kids sparks my joy. The simplicity in the things that bring them joy and belly laughs, puts everything into perspective to me.

Go-To Social Media Accounts for Inspiration
My favorite social media accounts are @thrive because I love that it teaches us that productivity doesn’t always equal success and happiness. It’s really made me understand that burnout is real and helps me slow down. Also, @scarymommy because it’s hilarious, and it makes parenting less pretentious.

Go-To Quarantine Indulgence
My indulgence most definitely was wine. A well-served glass makes everything better, lol!

Go-To Feel Good Song on Repeat
Bendiciones (or Blessings in English) by Bad Bunny. It’s just a happy song that was written at the bringing of the pandemic and it positively feeds my mood.

Linda will launch her new website Dr. Linda Parra on Tuesday, September 29th.
