Moesha being the first runner up (released on August 1), Black Twitter has been abuzz with nostalgia, critiques, and of course, outfit inspo.
Those of us who grew up watching Moesha watched adoringly as she got her first car, spent time with her friends at The Den, and went on dates. When we pictured adolescence, we pictured Moesha (amongst many other teen style icons). I always imagined I would be as stylish as Moesha (with her everchanging braids too). And I could not help but admire her equally fabulous friends, Kim and Niecy, who kept it coming with the impeccable outfits and accessories to match. One thing I noticed in season one, Kim is never caught without a scrunchie or hairband to match her outfit. Come on, coordination queen!
Now that I am watching as an adult, I even gain fashion inspiration from Dee and Miles! What a time to be alive! With the Fall season sneaking up on us, I could not help but cherry-pick some fall fashion inspiration from season one of Moesha and her friends. Here are 7 Fall Outfit ideas from Moesha, Kim, Niecey (and even Dee)!
