New York- Vivica A Fox was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award during the IndieWise weekend festival.
The IndieWise festival is a week-long celebration where people in the film business are celebrated, as well as promoted for their work in front of the camera or behind the lens. Many directors, as well as actresses and actors, came out and supported Vivica A Fox’s Lifetime Achievement.
Before Vivica was awarded her award she talked with the press about her journey and how you have to have faith in your journey. “I started this journey 33 years ago; I had some good times, as well as bad times, but I kept my head up. I know that at times it was a struggle, but I knew I had a purpose in my life,” said Vivica. “I knew if I had God in my life, everything was going to be alright.”
“If you have a goal go for it. Don’t look at the people who are hating on you. Just work hard, haveĀ faith, and everything will be okay.”
After her award was given to her, the director had a special surprise for Vivica and that surprise was a painting of herself. She thanked the artist who honored her in his work, as well as thanked everyone for attending her event.
