It is finally Fall, which means it’s finally boots season! And if you have been paying attention to fashion month, I am sure you have noticed all of the boot trends stomping their way down the runways and the streets. In Tokyo, fashionistas donned chunky construction-style boots typical of the grungy street style that Tokyo is well known for. In New York, snake print boots and croc boots could be spotted far and wide. Do not fret, the industry is still sticking to its vow to sustainability as most of the boots I saw were faux. In London, white leather boots and slim fit leather rain boots reigned supreme in the rainy city. And in Paris, boots reminiscent of the Y2K fashion scene (which was heavily influenced by the R&B/hip hop scene) popped up from designers like Dior and Nike. While I will always be a sucker for a glitz and glam boot (hello sequins and studs), I can not help but prepare myself to dip my toe (pun intended) into these daring boot trends that emerged this season.
