- Twist your hair into 4-6 chunky twists.
- Wrap the twists around the base of your ponytail to form a bun. Secure with bobby pins.
Style #2: Classic Double Buns
The double buns are a tried and true classic for many of us. It is easy, stylish, and youthful!
- Part your hair down the middle.
- Using tight elastics, pull your hair into a bun on each side of your head.
- Pro Tip: To avoid uneven styling, use a large headband as a guide to show where each bun should begin. This helps ensure the buns are parallel to each other and not lopsided.
- Secure with bobby pins and fluff up the buns using a pic.
For extra flair, turn your buns into bantu knots or style two twists (or braids) as bangs.
Style #3: The Twist Halo
This is an excellent hairstyle for when your hair is feeling too frizzy or full to style. It is a great go-to for the summer months because of the low maintenance and a great go-to for the winter months because it protects your hair from the cold.
- Part your hair down the middle
- Loosely twist each side of your hair.
- Pin one twist on top of the other at the back of your head.
As always ladies and gents, do not forget to moisturize! And be gentle with your tendrils.
