Hennessy hosted a great celebration last night in New York City at Mister H, as Sevyn Streeter released her debut EP, Call Me Crazy… But. As the attendees enjoyed signature cocktails from Hennessy, Dj SNS spinned the new project. Among the attendees were Fuzion Mag’s Top 20 Miss Influential Angela Yee, Ms. Drama, Music Executive Kevin Liles, Joe Budden, Sharon Carpenter, Mario Winans and Fuzion Mag’s bachelor Mack Wilds
Sevyn Streeter, a singer-songwriter, entered the music industry in 2001 as a member of two different girl groups who have now disbanded. For the past couple of years she has written songs for music heavyweights such as Kelly Rowland, Chris Brown and Tamar Braxton to name a few; she has also had the opportunity to work with musical producers Babyface, Timbaland and Swiss Beats. Some of her popular songs are Chris Brown’s “Fine China,” Ariana Grande’s top 10 hit, “The Way” and Alicia Keys “New Day.”
It’s no surprise that Sevyn has taken things into her own hands with the release of her new EP, Call Me Crazy… But. This album delves into the ups and downs of being in a relationship. “It’s just talking about the cycle of a relationship—the ups, the downs, the good, the bad, the ugly—and I think we’ve all been through that,” said Sevyn.
