The Reem Acra’s 2014 Spring Collection gave us a large dose of glam with its’ signature embroideries and electrical energy this season. The collection was very sophisticated suggesting a confident aesthetic that left us with an effortlessly modern and lustrous edge while viewing the collection. The looks were perfect for any ‘girl on the go’ as they transition from daytime affairs to a glamorous night life.
Signature pieces such as dotted patterns, one shoulders, cut chiffons, charmeuses, suedes, slits, tulle overskirts, metallic gold and silvers and body skimming draped silhouettes, decorated the runway with songs like “This feeling” by Mikel Curcio echoing in the background. All races, long and lean were present on the model roster this season. They sported couture hair that was loose, parted in the middle with 1/3 of it sleeked and teased ends. This made for an amazing finale as their hair glowed down the runway above their liquid metallic fabrics.
